Syberjet Continues SJ30 Program
June 15, 2011

MT, LC the manufacturer of the acclaimed SJ30 light jet, has announced they will operate as SyberJet Aircraft. Earlier this year, SyberJet purchased the assets of Emivest Aerospace out of bankruptcy. Since the acquisition, SyberJet has moved the Martinsburg, West Virginia assembly line to its facilities in Cedar City, Utah and is continuing its operations in San Antonio, Texas.

The SJ30 is the first light jet that can fly non-stop from New York to Los Angeles and nonstop across the Atlantic, giving unparalleled flexibility and convenience for owners. The SJ30’s ability to fly faster (Mach 0.83), farther (2,500 nm), and at higher altitudes up to 49,000 ft gives the freedom to fly above the weather, avoid traffic congestion, and fly more direct routes. The SJ30 is the only jet that maintains a sea level cabin to 41,000 ft.

Mark Fairchild, SyberJet’s San Antonio General Manager, adds “I am excited to be part of the future success of SyberJet. As a pilot, the SJ30 is an exhilarating jet to fly. SyberJet has a solid operating plan to deliver new SJ30s to the world marketplace. I look forward to providing more people the unique opportunity to experience the high performance capability that SJ30 affords its owners and operators.”

Additional details will be released as they become available.

EAC is Appointed as Williams International Authorized Service Station
May 1, 2010

Emivest Aerospace’s Service Center (Part 145) has been appointed a Williams International Authorized Service Station for the SJ30 and its FJ44-2A engines. Adding this dimension to EAC's capabilities allows them to complete engine services and file warranty claims for SJ30 customers for the standard warranty as well as for aircraft enrolled in the Total Assurance Program (TAP). The repair station is now authorized to perform Engine Check 1 and Check 2 services in accordance with the current issue of the line maintenance manual or service bulletins.

As part of this process EAC's Service Center mechanics completed a five day Williams’ engine recurrent training class at the Walled Lake facility earlier this year. The mechanics had already completed Williams FJ44-2A initial training.

The Emivest Aerospace Service Center is stocked with the necessary tools, equipment, and spares to fulfill the requirements of the Service Station approval. The Service Center is ready to complete all maintenance and Engine Check 1 & 2 scheduled maintenance.

Actor Morgan Freeman Takes Delivery of his New SJ30

Hollywood high flyer purchases private jet in Dubai
December 23, 2009

Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman arrived in Dubai this week on a flying visit. The multi-award winning American actor visited the emirate to spend his Christmas vacation and officially receive his new Emivest SJ30 private jet while he was in town.

“I’ve had my eye on the SJ30 for a while. It’s fast, economical to run and will allow me to undertake long flights without having to stop for fuel all the time,” said Freeman. “I have been extremely pleased with its range and overall performance. The sea-level cabin is really comfortable, which is an added bonus whenever I travel.”

Freeman, who also has twin-engine Cessna 414 and Cessna Citation 501 SP jets in his hangar, has described the SJ30 as the final box to be ticked on his “Bucket List of planes.” The actor has been flying his own aircraft since 2002, and holds instrument and multi-engine ratings.

Before his silver screen success allowed him to buy his own planes, Freeman would daydream at school about piloting a fighter jet. Even though he subsequently joined the Air Force, he did so as a mechanic and it wasn’t until he was 65 years old that he acquired his pilot’s license.

Freeman’s Emivest SJ30 is a solution to longer, faster travel for the jet set, and is fitted with the very latest in-flight and safety equipment. It is the light jet performance leader with a range of 2,500 nautical miles and the highest cruise speed in the light jet industry of Mach 0.83.

Buti Saeed Al Ghandi, chairman of Emirates Investment and Development Company, who hosted the handover ceremony for the star, was especially pleased at the stellar status of Emivest’s latest customer. “Mr. Freeman has an excellent knowledge of aircraft, and he immediately knew that the SJ30 would be perfect for him. It is such a pleasure to welcome somebody with such star billing to Dubai and to know he will fly one of our aircraft.”

“It is exciting to fly the SJ30 in my world tour to promote for my new movie Invictus which talks about the South African leader Nelson Mandela. This will help in spotting the light on a UAE based company that manufactures very special private jets,” Freeman concluded.

Freeman’s jet purchase ignites UAE corporate market.

Despite strong competition from companies in Europe and the US, Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman chose Emivest Aerospace, a subsidiary of Emirates Investment and Development Company, to supply him with the very latest in SJ30 private jet. Freeman, who is currently visiting Dubai for a Christmas vacation, had decided earlier on the aircraft which provides solutions for longer and faster travel to owners.

“After speaking to a number of companies and individuals, Emivest came out on top as the only company that fitted all my criteria,” said Freeman during a press briefing held today (December 23 2009) at Dubai International Airport. “I was more than happy to buy from a company based in the UAE as I have traveled around the Emirates on a number of occasions and see this as a strong business hub despite the current economic problems across the world.”

The SJ30 sale returns early revenue for the company. The purchase will also help the firm to secure future investment and allow it to explore new markets in the aerospace industry.

“The sale of this SJ30 to Mr. Freeman proves the robust nature of business in the UAE and specifically Dubai,” said Buti Saeed Al Ghandi, chairman of Emirates Investment and Development Company, the main investors in the US based aircraft manufacturer, Emivest Aerospace. “Businesses across the world have suffered in the downturn, but this reaffirms the strength of locally-based companies, and especially Emivest.”

The SJ30 has been manufactured by Emivest Aerospace as a solution to longer, faster travel for corporate jets. Fitted with the very latest in flight and safety equipment the jet has raised the interest of many private aviators across the world. After completing test flights with Emivest’s chief test pilot John Siemens and production pilot Bryan Dennison, the aircraft was officially delivered to Freeman.

“I am really looking forward to flying the new jet and will use it to travel in the US from coast to coast without having to stop. I’m not sure if I’ll fly it all the way from the UAE, but with the film industry growing in the Gulf, and the various film festivals here building in stature, I’ll definitely be back soon,” Freeman added.

Freeman, who starred in the award winning Shawshank Redemption and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, took delivery of the SJ30 during the official handover ceremony in Dubai and will use it to cut journey time and the associated costs that accompany commercial air travel. The actor has held a flying licence since 2002 and is an accomplished pilot.

Emivest Aerospace Corporation (EAC) is pleased to announce that SJ30, serial number 008, was delivered to an enthusiastic new SJ30 owner on September 23, 2009 in ceremonies in San Antonio. Serial number 008 is the first SJ30 to be delivered under the Emivest Aerospace brand and becomes the third SJ30 in the fleet. The aircraft was outfitted at Jet Works Air Center with an HF radio (with SELCAL), dual Mode S (with enhanced surveillance) transponders, cockpit speaker mute, coupled Garmin 500 (with XM weather), veneer cabinets, a Rosen based in flight entertainment package, and Alto speaker system. This SJ30 brings comfort to a new level to match the SJ30's unrivaled performance.

Harry Mohney, Deja vu Consulting, Inc runs an entertainment business that spans the United States and beyond to international locations. His SJ30 will be used to manage his business. Mr. Mohney is excited to get his aircraft. I have waited for over 4 years for my SJ30. We have persevered through it all, but have always known that the SJ30’s performance was going to be worth it. Once my pilot and I went though our training, we truly began to see the culmination of the dream. I am very appreciative of all of the people at Emivest who made this happen and look forward to having some fun in my SJ30.

May 30, 2009

Emivest Aerospace Corporation (EAC) is pleased to announce that SJ30, serial number 008, took to the skies during its production flight checks over Texas. This marks a significant step in moving forward with production and establishing a regular delivery schedule. John Siemens, Chief Test Pilot and Bryan Dennison, Production Test Pilot piloted the aircraft on its first production flight. Serial number 008 is the first customer aircraft to be flown since Emirate Investment Development Corporation’s (EIDC) acquisition last year. Just last month EAC announced the completion of customer pilot training for this aircraft.

“The airplane flew exceptionally well just as we expected it would. We completed the items on the flight test card as planned including tests for handling qualities, stability and control and selected critical systems.” John Siemens commented.

Joe Gullion, Emivest COO, looks forward to delivery of the aircraft to the customer “Our customer is very excited about receiving his aircraft. We are happy that all of the hard work and planning is finally paying off resulting in the flight of serial number 008.” He adds “We have moved aircraft in flow behind 008 and look forward to beginning to deliver aircraft on a regular basis.”

Serial number 008 will continue on through it productions checks, and then be delivered to Jet Works Air Center in Denton, Texas for the completion of paint and numerous optional equipment installations including HF radio, Garmin 500, XM radio/weather, Alto speaker system, cockpit voice recorder, and a cabin entertainment system. The aircraft is expected to be delivered in the summer.

Action Aviation Showcases the Re-Launched EAC SJ30 at EBACE 2009
Action Aviation's s007 at EBACE 2009
First opportunity to see the SJ30 in Europe since the acquisition of Sino Swearingen by Dubai investors
May 12, 2009

Emivest Aerospace’s largest distributor, Action Aviation, is on hand at this year’s EBACE representing the factory, along with Action Aviation chairman Hamish Harding's own SJ30 on display just in front of the entrance steps to the EBACE static display.

Since the acquisition was announced at NBAA last year, Emivest has provided the necessary planning and capital to improve dramatically the company’s production line and manufacturing processes.   Emivest Aerospace is committed to increasing the SJ30 production rate significantly over the next two years and to restructuring the company to improve its build efficiencies.

Joe Gullion, Chief Operating Officer of Emivest Aerospace, commented "We are proud to be able to display at EBACE 2009 what must surely be the best performing light jet in the world.  We are especially pleased to increase our visibility in the European market now that we are making real progress on ramping up the SJ30 production line.  We are busy at the factory completing the necessary steps on the production line to allow us to meet all our contracted customer deliveries.  This progress can be seen with SJ30 serial number 008 as we are about to do the first flight of this first customer SJ30 to be delivered since the acquisition of the company.   In addition, we have been hard at work developing our customer service programs to support these early deliveries".

Joe Gullion added “Just last week we announced the completion of the first customer pilot training since the acquisition, with Debra Draheim completing her single pilot type rating on the SJ30”.

Hamish Harding, Emivest’s first SJ30 customer in Europe, adds “The SJ30 jet is a joy to fly. With the high-speed cruise of 486 kts (Mach 0.83), a range of 2,500 nautical miles and an operating ceiling of 49,000 feet, the SJ30 jet has truly exceptional performance for a light jet.  The sea-level cabin all the way to 41,000 ft also means that pilots and passengers are not as tired from the effects of jet lag as we would be on a long journey in any other business jet”.

Hamish Harding added “In today’s more cost-conscious aviation world, it is nice to operate a jet with one of the lowest costs per mile, due to covering 70 miles more per hour than many other light jets but burning about the same amount of fuel per hour.  We can also do anywhere-to-anywhere in Europe without tech stops, which cuts down travel time and airport handling charges”.

Emivest Aerospace and Action Aviation are looking positively to the future as both the factory and Action Aviation finally deliver on the great promise that the SJ30 has always shown.

About Action Aviation

EAC Prepares for Next Customer Delivery with the Completion of Pilot Training
EAC SJ30
Debra Draheim is the first woman to successfully complete SJ30 pilot training
May 4, 2009

Emivest Aerospace Corporation (EAC) is pleased to announce that Debra Draheim has successfully been issued the first single pilot type rating for the SJ30 since Emirates Investment Development Company (EIDC) acquired the company last year. Debra is the pilot for the privately held company that will take delivery this summer of SJ30 serial number 008, which will be the first customer delivered SJ30 since the acquisition by EIDC. It is currently being prepared for flight which is scheduled to occur as early as next week. Also notable is the fact that she becomes the first woman and mother to become single pilot type rated in the SJ30.

Debra is currently a captain on the CRJ-200/700/900 with a regional airline. “I really enjoy flying the SJ30. It is a swift and agile jet. I was surprised to see how easy it was to fly and am impressed with its speed, fuel efficiency, and capability. The entire team at Emivest provided their time and resources to help me learn everything I could to prepare for my single pilot check ride, and the training was excellent! It compared to an airline structure, except I could go down to the factory floor to examine the airplane in different stages of development, for hands on training! I look forward to flying serial number 008 when the company takes delivery this summer” Debbie said.

“We are very proud that Debbie has successfully completed her factory training and that she has made some history with the SJ30 program. She is a unique lady in that she holds a Bachelor of Science in Math from the US Naval Academy, a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and flew in the Navy. Now, she becomes the first woman and mother to be single pilot rated” comments COO Joe Gullion. He adds “we look forward to the delivery of their aircraft so they can begin enjoying the speed, range, and comfort that the SJ30 offers. This also marks the beginning of a new era for Emivest as we move into production”

Paul Arrambide, Chief Flight Instructor adds “Debbie has been a great student and exemplifies the quintessential SJ30 pilot with a good blend of the love of flying, enthusiasm for performance, and safety always. It was a pleasure to be here for her as she made history with Emivest and I look forward to talking to her after she has a chance to build some time in their aircraft.”

SJ30 Sets New World Speed Record from London to Dubai
Action Aviation SJ30 on display at MEBA 2008
Action Aviation's SJ30 on display at MEBA 2008
November 15, 2008

Emivest Aerospace Corporation, manufacturer of the world record-breaking SJ30 light business jet, which is displayed at the Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) 2008 and is being showcased at the Action Aviation pavilion, distributor of the SJ30. Action Aviation’s own SJ30 S/N ‘007’ took a new world speed record by flying seven hours and seven minutes from London to Dubai on 10th November including a 41-minute refueling stop in Istanbul.

The flight, captained by Action Aviation’s Chairman Hamish Harding and co-pilot Emivest Aerospace’s Bryan Dennison, covered a great circle distance of 3470 statute miles route (5600 km) giving an average speed of 488 mph (786 km/h). This London-Dubai record is currently the fastest time recorded for any aircraft below 20,000 lbs, as officially certified by the National Aeronautical Association.

“As the world’s fastest light business jet, the SJ30 is completely built for speed using innovative concepts in wing design ensuring it is aerodynamic and has the ability to cancel out gusts of wind. Since its first introduction, the SJ30 has been making world speed record flights including its record-breaking journey from Texas, USA to Dubai last year for the Dubai Airshow,” said EMIVEST Chairman, Buti Saeed Al Ghandi.

“The Middle East is now the world’s fastest expanding market for private jets with industry experts forecasting it will account for $720 million of the private jet market this year making the region a strong territory for the SJ30. Emivest Aerospace is looking forward to embracing these opportunities that lie ahead by bringing the SJ30 to market in large scale production,” he added.

“With the high-speed cruise of 486 kts and a range of 2,500 nautical miles, the SJ30 jet has truly exceptional performance for a light jet. Breaking records has become almost a habit with the SJ30. Last year, we flew our SJ30 aircraft a world record distance in a 24 hour period of 7810 nautical miles (14,500 kms) straight from San Antonio, Texas to Dubai, for the Dubai Air Show. In July 2006, we flew another SJ30 straight across the Atlantic in one hop, creating a new speed record for its weight class” said Action Aviation Chairman, Hamish Harding.

The SJ30 can be viewed at the Action Aviation pavilion (Outside Pavilion OD5) at MEBA 2008, from 16-18 November, at the Dubai Airport Expo.

“Emivest Aerospace is capitalising on business jet demands not only in the Middle East but also in emerging markets in Asia. Despite the recent global crunch, these demands are surprisingly increasing in some parts of the world, particularly in China, which is expected to have double-digit growth for the coming years. These Chinese businessmen’s rising need for business jets will facilitate some offset against the anticipated decline of western requirements for business jets,” said Anthony Power, CEO, Emivest Aerospace Corporation.

“MEBA is the perfect platform for the SJ30 as this is an event for companies and individuals involved in the chartering, purchasing, operating, etc of business and VIP jets for private or corporate use. Emivest Aerospace’s partnership with Action Aviation hopes to meet the increasing demand for business jets in the region and others as well,” Power concluded.

Emivest Aerospace Corporation, EMIVEST’s new subsidiary, delivers to the market a totally new concept business jet in the form of the SJ30.

October 10, 2008

Emirates Investment & Development Company PSC (Emivest), the majority shareholder of Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation (SSAC), today unveiled a new company name – Emivest Aerospace Corporation – signaling its latest expansion into the aircraft manufacturing sector.

Members of the new Emivest Aerospace Corporation management team announced the company’s strategic direction and new name during a press conference at the National Business Aviation Association 2008 Annual Meeting and Convention in Orlando, Fla.

Emivest Aerospace Corporation, formerly SSAC, is a leading manufacturer of light jet aircraft, a rapidly-growing industry sector.

“Emivest Aerospace Corporation is embarking on a new direction, fueled by the ongoing commercial acceptance of the SJ30, the light jet with the best range and speed in the industry,” said Buti Saeed Al Ghandi, Chairman of both Emirates Investment & Development Company PSC and Emivest Aerospace Corporation. “While we have a new name, Emivest Aerospace Corporation will continue to build on our reputation for innovation and high quality in the design, development and manufacture of the world’s finest light jet aircraft.”

Since 1963 SSAC became the first company in the United States to design and develop, and later build, certify and deliver to the market a totally new concept business jet in the form of the SJ30.

Anthony Power, CEO, Emivest Aerospace Corporation, said, “The projected growth of the business aviation sector is quite strong throughout the world. Emivest Aerospace Corporation is positioned perfectly to capitalize on heightened demand in the light jet sector, and our new name symbolizes our renewed commitment to innovation-driven growth.”

“We look forward to embracing these opportunities that lie ahead by bringing the SJ30 to market in large scale production,” said Joseph Gullion, COO, Emivest Aerospace Corporation.

Emivest acquired an 80 percent stake in SSAC in June 2008. The re-branding of SSAC to Emivest Aerospace Corporation is effective immediately, and will be reflected in all uses of the corporate brand name.

The First European Customer - SJ30 N90HB - Exceeds Customer's Expectations with over 300 Flight Hours to Date

September 25, 2007

Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation (“SSAC”) announced today that the first customer SJ30, serial number 006 - N901HB, owned by Jetran International and based in Horseshoe Bay, Texas is exceeding the customer’s expectations and has already put over 300 flight hours on the aircraft since beginning operations on February 23rd 2007. This aircraft is on display at the static area (Booth 17). It has averaged over 50 hrs per month and has visited numerous cities in the continental U.S., Canada, Mexico, and made eight Atlantic crossings since its delivery. The SJ30 is the only light jet with the range capability of a mid-size jet providing access to Europe with a single stop from anywhere in the United States.

Rare for an early delivery, serial number 006 has spent virtually all of its time supporting the customer’s flight operation needs. Although the factory retains a lease-back for demonstration flights Jetran International along with Horseshoe Bay Resort (also owned by Jaffe) has been monopolizing the aircraft to date. It is a true testament to the aircraft that it has been utilized so heavily so early in the delivery schedule.

“We were excited to find out that the aircraft is performing so well.“ commented Douglas Jaffe, CEO, Jetran International, “As the first customer we were fully expecting some growing pains, but they just haven’t happened. The aircraft is performing well and is everything we knew it would be when I first got involved with the program so many years ago.” As a note Douglas Jaffe is one of the original investors in the SJ30 program early nineties, accounting for the “J” in SJ30.

Dr. Lo, CEO & Chairman notes “Mr. Jaffe is really enjoying the aircraft as evidenced by the fact that it is always flying. We knew that once we began to deliver aircraft everyone else would see what we have been saying for years – the SJ30 is the best light jet in this class.”

The Jetran SJ30 has a heavy flight schedule so look for it on a ramp near you.

N901HB - Serial Number 006 is on static display (static booth 17) during the NBAA show in Atlanta, GA on Sept 25th-27th 2007.

SSAC’s SJ30 business jet is a high performance twinjet aircraft with a range of over 2,500 nautical miles and the highest cruise speed in the light jet industry of Mach .83 (486 ktas). This single pilot certified jet operates at altitudes to 49,000 feet and maintains a “Sea Level Cabin” of 12 psi through 41,000 ft. SSAC is positioned to produce a family of cost-efficient, high performance, high-quality business jets.

The aircraft is on display at the static area at Booth 17 throughout the show.

“We are very excited about taking delivery of the second customer SJ30, especially after anticipating this aircraft for so long” says Hamish Harding, who is already a type rated pilot in the SJ30. “With Action Aviation businesses to visit around the world, the SJ30 is really the only light jet that would meet our own need to travel non-stop across the Atlantic, coast-to-coast in the US and anywhere-to-anywhere in Europe” He goes on to say “We particularly like the 486 knot cruise speed and the fact that the SJ30 maintains a sea level cabin to 41,000 ft, which reduces the jet lag effects of longer journeys”.

Dr. Lo, CEO of Sino Swearingen adds “We are very proud to be able to deliver our second customer SJ30 to Mr. Harding. He has been an enthusiastic supporter of the SJ30 program for many years and we look forward to delivering more of the 159 SJ30 aircraft that his company Action Aviation has ordered for their international distribution business”.

Both SJ30 customer aircraft delivered to date are on static display during the NBAA show in Atlanta, GA on Sept 25th-27th 2007.

Sino Swearingen recently received FAA authorization to conduct in-house flight training for customers seeking SJ30 type ratings.  The course is FAA authorized for both two-crew and single-pilot operations.  The type rating course consists of a minimum of 48 hours of classroom instruction and up to 26 hours of flight training.  With initial SJ30 customers, flight training is provided in a company supplied aircraft but a fully capable level D simulator is planned in the future.

Mr. Harding, who holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and is already type rated in Citation jets, commented, “The Sino Swearingen flight training course was carried out in a professional and efficient manner.  Even though the course details are still being ironed out, those small issues were more than compensated for by the privilege of learning so much about handling the SJ30 from Sino Swearingen’s top test pilots.  The SJ30 is a magnificent aircraft to fly.  I was impressed with the performance that I saw in the real aircraft – high speed cruise of 486 knots and range of 2500 nm are both easily achieved, which is much better than any other light jets I have flown.  In fact the SJ30 climb speed is faster than the high speed cruise of some other light jets. But even with all this performance, the SJ30 still has very manageable Vref approach speeds of around 105 knots, thanks to leading-edge slats and large trailing-edge flaps.  Overall, I have found the SJ30 no harder to fly than the Citation CJ1 that I am used to flying”.

Bob Kromer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing said, “We are thrilled to see the first SJ30 type rating issued to one of our first retail customers.  It’s quite a milestone as we transform ourselves from an engineering and development company to one that delivers and supports customers and their airplanes. During the flight test program, the Sino Swearingen team worked very hard to develop an aircraft with predictable and straight forward handling qualities, while offering our customers levels of performance simply never before available in the light jet market.  We’ve redefined the price/performance equation for light jet operators and offer it in an airplane with predictable and honest flying qualities.  We’re very proud of that.”

The SJ30 is a high performance light jet with a range approaching 2,500 nautical miles and is capable of cruise speeds up to .83 Mach or 486 KTAS.  The SJ30 is certified for single pilot operations and a sea level cabin altitude can be maintained up to 41,000 feet due to the aircraft’s 12 psi cabin pressurization differential.

SSAC Receives FAA Type Certification for the SJ30 Business Jet
FAA grants Type Certification to SSAC for SJ30
October 25, 2007

Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation announced today the receipt of a Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) Type Certificate (TC) for the new SJ30-2 business jet. This announcement marks the first “clean sheet” corporate jet aircraft design developed by a new company to achieve FAA Type Certification since the original concept of a corporate jet emerged almost 45 years ago.

The new Type Certificate approves the SJ30-2 jet for day, night, visual flight rules (VFR) and instrument flight rules (IFR) operations. Single pilot operations were approved and the full performance envelope was included in this TC issuance without restrictions. The first customer deliveries are scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2006.

Dr. Ching Kuo, Chairman and CEO of Sino Swearingen said, “Just as the original corporate jets pioneered a new market, we believe the newly certified SJ30-2 will totally redefine the light jet market. With the ability to operate up to 49,000 feet, cruise up to 0.83 Mach, and fly non-stop flights to 2,500 nautical miles, future owners of the SJ30-2 will experience capabilities previously available only in corporate jets costing twice as much. And, with a maximum cabin pressurization level of 12 psi, our customers will also appreciate a sea level cabin altitude with the aircraft flying up to 41,000 feet. As much as I’m proud of my dedicated staff, I’m also very much appreciative of the FAA team for its cooperation, spirit, and hard work to help us achieve this goal.”

Dr. Carl Chen, President of Sino Swearingen said, “Our company is very proud to announce the receipt of the Type Certificate for the SJ30-2. The employees of our company as well as our investors have committed many years to achieving this goal and it’s very gratifying to finally announce our receipt of the Type Certificate. We have been developing and certifying the SJ30-2 for quite some time. We are now preparing ourselves to become a complete aircraft company, delivering airplanes to customers and supporting them as they operate their aircraft around the world.”

Alfred Baumbusch, Senior Vice President of Operations, echoed those comments, “So many people have worked diligently to achieve this goal. I am proud to be part of such a dedicated and talented team of individuals who designed, developed and tested the SJ30-2 to stringent FAA standards. I’m also privileged to have worked successfully with the FAA to focus on a common objective. Obtaining a Type Certificate is a significant achievement for Sino Swearingen and a landmark event for the corporate aviation industry.”

Bob Kromer, Senior Manager of Flight Operations added, “I’m excited to be so close to introducing the SJ30-2 to customers and pilots. Our flight test pilots and engineers have spent over 2,100 hours fine tuning the SJ30-2 to be easy to fly while delivering high performance. I’m proud to say both of these goals have been achieved. Our future customers will be more than impressed as they cruise at 0.80 Mach or greater with true airspeeds well over 460 knots. Our airplanes climb at maximum takeoff weight directly to 43,000 feet and cruise up to 2,500 nautical miles without the need to stop for fuel. And with the Vref speeds as low as 105 knots, the airplane is easy to land and can be operated from shorter runways. The SJ30-2 is the complete package. Our test pilots are confident that our future customers will agree.

SJ30 S003 Wraps Up Flight Testing
Successful Flight Test
September 6, 2005

Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corp. (SSAC) announced today that it added another milestone announcement to the FAA certification program, Flight Test Aircraft Serial Number 0003 has now finished all of its FAA flight testing, with 100% value added to the final FAA certification program, due later this year.

Mark Elwess Senior Flight Test Pilot stated today: “This marks a major milestone for the Sino Swearingen SJ30 FAA Certification project. Aircraft N30SJ (SN0003) just completed its last FAA TIA flight testing with the completion of the Auto Pilot Performance and Malfunction tests after an amazing list of tests accumulated”

SJ30-2 twinjet aircraft N30SJ, the earliest in the fleet of three flight test aircraft, has accumulated an extraordinary number of actual flight test hours that exceeded 725 hours. These hours included numerous and wide-ranging combinations of Company and FAA compliance Flight Testing. Tests involved were extensive high Mach lateral directional tests, engine in flight fire suppression tests, in flight unusable fuel tests, flight testing of engine operating characteristics and engine out conditions, engine in flight, air start tests, noise compliance tests, extreme cold and severe hot weather operations tests, engine-airframe natural icing tests and more.

Test pilots are the ultimate pilots in the aviation world. They fly beyond the limits and outside the envelope to make new aircraft the safest form of transportation. These gentlemen actually fly directly into real icing conditions with the anti-icing turned off, and watch the ice build up on the wings and empennage, which have been painted flat black for better viewing, through cameras installed on the exterior of the aircraft and then they “stall the aircraft” and perform various maneuvers to verify the handling characteristics under these extreme conditions. They actually shut engines off to prove its excellent single-engine capabilities, they run out of fuel with one engine and land with one engine only to find the unusable fuel of an aircraft. They perform a tremendous amount of tests out-side of the envelope that the average person would never think about to provide exceptionally detailed information to the FAA and to pilots that will be flying the new SJ30-2 in the future. All of this is to meet extreme FAA certification standards and to provide valuable data for information under severe conditions to all pilots that will fly the new SJ30-2 twinjet for generations to come. These test pilots and all test pilots in the world are the reason, pilots and passengers can feel very secure flying aircraft, and purchasing a newly FAA certificated aircraft knowing that virtually everything has been done to ensure that aircraft and aviation are the safest possible.

Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation is FAA certifying the new SJ30-2 twin engine business jet at San Antonio TX with over 550 employees in four facilities totaling over 220,000 sq ft in the USA Coast To Coast. The Company continues spectacular acceleration in the certification process and recently received the first final FAA TIA for a twinjet business aircraft in over three decades. The final TIA is the last major threashold prior to the FAA certification TC (Type Certification) projected to be final in the second half of this year. The new Sino Swearingen SJ30-2 business jet is a very high performance, ultra long range, intercontinental, twinjet aircraft with an incredible 2,875 sm range (2,500 nm) and one of the highest cruise speeds in the history of the light jet industry at Mach .83 (560 mph). The SJ30-2 will operate at altitudes up to 49,000 feet with a cabin at 1,800 fr and maintain a “Sea Level Cabin” through 41,000 ft with the best pressurization in the world, 12 psi. The new SJ30-2 will also have certification for single pilot operations and slow approach speeds, a Vref of approximately 105 kts coupled with very easy to fly handling characteristics and short field landing and balanced field takeoff distances approximately 3,515 ft. Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation business plan is aggressively geared to become the world’s leading aircraft producer by creating a family of cost-efficient, high performance, high-quality, superior technology, business jets. Specifications are preliminary and subject to change.

SSAC Becomes First New Company in 35 Years to Receive Final FAA TIA Approvals for New Twinjet Aircraft
Sino Executive Team
August 16, 2005

Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corp. (SSAC) stunned the world of aviation with a major announcement today. For the first time in the last 35 year history of aviation a “new company” was issued final TIA’s (Type Inspection Authorizations) by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for an all new, clean slate, twinjet aircraft.

This spectacular announcement is the final threshold before receiving the FAA TC (Type Certification) and virtually guarantees SSAC the certification this year for the new SJ30, the World’s Fastest and Longest Range light business jet.

During the SJ30 extraordinary certification flight test program, all 13 blocks of testing (TIA's) were approved and issued by the FAA. Completion of these critical TIA’s is extremely significant as they provided full exploration of all aspects of flying and operating the SJ30 by SSAC factory and FAA engineering test pilots. Three high performance SJ30’s have been in extensive flight testing and have run the gauntlet of FAA tests from stall speeds of 91 kts to a fantastic Mmo of Mach .83; through high speed dive testing up to Mach .90, all the way through engine-out testing and every aspect of the flight envelope, in-side and out, that could possibly be imposed on a new jet aircraft. The SJ30 has consistently shown complete adherence and total compliance to all FAA regulations.

The company has maintained a time-line for certification which spanned approximately 4.8 years since the first flight of the first FAA conformed SJ30 twinjet in the fourth quarter of 2000 and has built five flight test aircraft and two complete static and fatigue test aircraft.

Starting 2 ½ years ago, the program began accelerating dramatically to extraordinary limits when Dr. Carl L. Chen CEO & President , along with Alfred Baumbusch, Sr. VP, Operations, entered the scene. Working intensively with the FAA, under the direction of Robert Kromer, Senior Manager, Flight Test Operations & Chief Pilot, the combined talents of 500 hard working and dedicated employees at San Antonio, TX, & Martinsburg, WV, made it possible for SSAC to reach this amazing threshold by obtaining the final TIA certification under almost impossible odds. The entire company resounded in cheers of celebration and praise for this huge accomplishment.

Dr. Ching Chiang Kuo, Chairman of Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation stated today, “The issuing of the Final TIA is an important milestone for SSAC that paves the way for us to receive the TC for the SJ30. And we are very appreciative to the FAA for recognizing our efforts and accomplishments. Through this TIA process, we have demonstrated that the SJ30 outperforms all aircraft in its class in speed, range, cabin pressure etc. It can fly at M=0.83 which is faster than it’s counterparts. With cabin delta pressure at 12.0 psi, it can maintain sea level pressure up to 41,000 ft and provide a comfortable environment for its passengers. We are prepared now is to complete the F&R flight testing and a few open items prior to receiving the SJ30 TC. During this time we have initiated the mass production schedule to deliver to our customers for them to enjoy”.

Dr. Carl Chen, President and CEO of SSAC, added, “We are all ecstatic; few people may realize the historic and economic impact of this announcement. Certainly the competition receives final TIA’s occasionally, but they are not a new company and very seldom do they have a totally new design. It was not their first jet aircraft or their first time to receive the final TIA’s. It’s not easy, in fact, it’s a massive, almost impossible undertaking for a small, new company with limited resources and it becomes so intense that we do not believe any new company with a new twinjet corporate aircraft has accomplished receiving the Final TIA’s since the 60’s. Now, out of nowhere, in a short time, there will be a new manufacturer on the world aviation scene with a new jet aircraft that has speed and intercontinental range performance figures that exceed every light jet business aircraft on earth.”

Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation is FAA certifying the new SJ30 twin engine business jet at San Antonio TX and major structure manufacturing at Martinsburg West VA, with over 500 employees in four facilities totaling over 220,000 sq ft in the USA Coast To Coast. Additional Spectacular Results Received from Testing New SSAC SJ30 Twinjet Aircraft
SJ30-2 Abused Take Of
July 14, 2005

Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corp. (SSAC) announced today that the FAA recently issued a Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) for the new SJ30 executive business jet, that included Minimum unstick Vr abuse testing.

Incredible takeoff photo of SJ30 during radical attempts of pilots to demonstrate abused Vr takeoffs, tail strikes and stall attempts. All tests were completed safely and demonstrated that the SJ30 can take off while maintaining extreme pitch attitudes and no tail strike or stall.

Company minimum unstick speed (VMU) testing was recently completed during a series of flight tests in which the test pilots purposely abused the normal takeoff procedures by testing for tail strike or stall capabilities at Vr. The new SJ30 successfully demonstrated that it can safely takeoff and fly away from ground effects while maintaining extreme pitch attitudes without any occurrence of a tail strike or stall.

Pitch attitudes at takeoff were at extreme positions of up to 15 degrees nose up. The tests open the way to unrestricted rotation speed Vr that will provide low and easy takeoff speeds V2 and shorter takeoff distances. This assists in the projected easy and very good handling takeoffs with the new SJ30 twinjet aircraft.

SJ30 Twinjet Completes Water Ingestion High Speed Testing for Flooded Runways
Flooded Runway Test
July 11, 2005

Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation (SSAC) announced today that it has successfully completed testing of the new SJ30 twinjet aircraft for drenched and flooded runway conditions for both rain and slush.his spectacular photo shows the SJ30 twin jet S/N 0004 as it plunges into flooded runway conditions in a series of tests for water ingestion. The Pilots on board conducting the tests are SSAC Test Pilot, John Siemens, left seat and Tim Fitzgerald right seat.

Intensive testing of the aircraft includes a number of very high speed runs of the aircraft through water troughs with levels of water up to three quarters inch deep. The maximum water depth was set to include the requirements for both the FAA and EASA JAA, testing under rain drenched, slush, and flooded runway conditions.

Speed of the SJ30 as it enters the water troughs are as high as 126 mph. The Aircraft Main Landing Gear and Nose Landing Gear are all put through their paces numerous times in this spectacular test. The purpose of the test is to simulate a flooded runway with rain and slush verification and that no tendency exists for unapproved amounts of water to enter the engine inlets during landing, take off, and runway operations.

The SJ30 twin engine, business jet completed this testing without modifications to the aircraft design which are sometimes necessary on other aircraft.

Dr. Carl Chen, CEO and President of Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation said today; “We are ecstatic about this amazing test as it shows the superb functionality and strength of the “trailing link” landing gear and it’s excellent operation under the harshest conditions. The entire company is excited as this test emphasizes some of our final tests to FAA certify the new SJ30 by the second half of this year. The accomplishments and extra team efforts provided by the employees at SSAC and the FAA are significant in obtaining the certification on time and are greatly appreciated by our customers and the entire management team at SSAC.”

This is an incredible landing gear design and location, that consists of the latest “trailing link” landing system. It is similar to an airliner design as it uses two wheels on each main landing gear and two wheels on the nose gear for a total of six wheels and tires on the aircraft. This combination of dual wheels all the way around and trailing link landing gear provides smooth, excellent, taxi, takeoff and landing characteristics and breaking efficiency as well as dual wheel safety protection for the aircraft in case of a tire loss.

SSAC Conducts Cold Soak Testing on New SJ30 at an Incredible 40 Degrees Below Zero
Cold Soak Testing
April 19, 2005

Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corp. (SSAC) announced today that it recently conducted a major milestone in certification with cold soak testing as required for the FAA Certification of the new SJ30 twinjet aircraft.

The SJ30 is pictured in a cold soak facility at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida that lowers temperatures to minus 40 degrees C. To make things even more exciting, moisture is actually induced into the test building, creating incredibly cold conditions that produces an ice fog, as.shown in the photo, that is soaked into the aircraft.

The aircraft is then soaked at this incredibly cold -40 degree temperature and then tested for avionics performance, pre-start, engine start and operation, landing gear retraction and extension, hydraulic system operations as well as functions of other systems and controls

Customers will be extremely excited with this testing, knowing their new SJ30 twinjet aircraft will operate under the harshest freezing conditions and from virtually any point on earth.

Dr. Carl L. Chen, CEO, and President of Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation stated today; “For the second phase of Cold Soak Testing the aircraft will be flown to northern Canada or other sever cold areas in the world. There the aircraft will be operated in the very harsh environment of cold temperatures, with high winds and freezing precipitation to verify all systems operate correctly when in these extreme airport surface conditions.”

Dr. Carl Chen added; “After the Cold Soak, the testing phase for flight of the aircraft into Know Icing was launched and is currently underway. We are flying numerous test flights almost daily. In several series of testing, ice shapes are actually added to the leading edges of the aircraft and then it is flown through a number of maneuvers to show worst case flight test scenarios with simulated icing on the leading edges. Actual known icing tests are then conducted”

Alfred Baumbusch, Senior Vice President, Operations, stated today; “The SJ30 has performed very well in the extreme cold conditions that it has been subjected to. Testing has shown that at minus 40 degrees Centigrade, all operating systems function as intended with dispatch procedures not requiring any unusual preflight preparations.”

Mr. Baumbusch added; “Final certification testing will be for the aircraft, using only internal battery power, to start the engines, taxi, takeoff and depart from airports with surface temperatures down to minus 15 degrees C. Then using, auxiliary external, electrical power such as a battery cart, it will be proven that the SJ30 can operate routinely with surface temperatures down to -40 degrees C.”

SJ30 Twinjet Passes Critical Mach 90 High Speed Dive Testing
August 10, 2004
Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation (SSAC) announced today that the company has achieved the high speed dive test results for the Mmo Mach .83 by reaching required testing speeds of Mach .90 in a series of high speed dive tests.

The dive speed testing to Mach .90 is required to confirm the Mmo (Maximum Mach operating speed) of Mach .83 and to confirm that the aircraft does not encounter flutter at any operating speeds or safety margin speeds to Mach .90.

The speed tests to Mach .90 were flown by SSAC Project Test Pilot, John Siemens as left seat command pilot with second control pilots Erick Kinney and Tim Fitzgerald alternating flights and flight control as well as engineering duties in the right seat. The aircraft used is SSAC's FAA conformed SJ30 twinjet S/N 0004, using Williams Rolls FJ44-2A engines with thrust output of 2,300 lbs each engine. On board were a number of sensing and recording devices including three airspeed indicators and three pitot airspeed sensors, one mounted on a boom on the nose of the aircraft. In addition, a state-of-the-art telemetry system was in place on the aircraft with real-time display in the mobile ground station of over 20 critical flight parameters on both strip chart records and computer workstations.

The flight test team performed an incredible number of tests that totaled over 60 hours of flight time and included 331 test points. The team performed the speed dive tests from altitudes starting as high as 45,000 ft finishing at 41,000 ft. and at 35,000 ft finishing at 28,000 ft as well as at low altitudes of 18,000 ft. Tests were accomplished with normal and aft CG configuration as well as with the yaw damper turned on and off. After flight testing was finished the company reports that it has passed the required speeds to Mach .90 dive testing to allow the SJ30 to be certified with a Mmo of Mach .83 with FAA certification projected to be finalized the second half of next year 2005.

Dr. Carl L. Chen, CEO and President of SSAC stated: "This is an incredible milestone for Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corp and for the customers of the new SJ30 twinjet. The SJ30 is now solidly the world's fastest light business jet in the 20,000 lbs and under category and is even faster than some medium and heavier twin jets. High cruise speed is exceptionally important in today's high technology and fast paced world and the faster you travel the better. We can now say with confidence the SJ30 is an easy to fly, high performance Mach .83 (485 kts 560 mph) twinjet well on its way to becoming the fastest selling light business jet available. Customers now know that flying with a Mmo of Mach .83 they are just 40 mph short of 600 mph and they can fly with the confidence and assurance that SSAC test pilots have actually tested the SJ30 far beyond this capability with speeds up to Mach .90 and the aircraft has shown excellent handling qualities throughout the flight speed envelope."

Dr. Chen continued. "The FAA, our flight test pilots and the entire team have performed a major feat and they are all to be congratulated at the highest level. This is a true dedicated and focused team to be proud of and we thank each and every one of them."

The SJ30 test aircraft S/N 0004 was flown by John Siemens, SSAC Project Test Pilot. Mr. Siemens stated: "The SJ30 demonstrated excellent handling characteristics at high airspeeds and high Mach numbers. We test the SJ30 twinjet at airspeeds and Mach numbers far in excess of those ever encountered by our future customers. Even though they'll never fly there, our customers can rest assured their airplanes have superb aerodynamics and safe handling qualities well beyond the normal operating envelope."

Mr. Siemens added: "During the testing handling was excellent and above Mach .86 high speed buffet is very minor, stability and control is good and the airplane showed exemplary roll control at speeds up to .90Mach above 28,300 ft and 372 knots indicated ( 551 KTAS @ 28,300 ) below 28,300 ft. I was very impressed, especially considering the fact that the SJ30 has such a highly swept wing and conventional tube and cable actuated flight controls. Never before have I flight tested a jet that is so comfortable going so fast".

Bob Kromer, Senior Manager of Flight Test and Flight Operations, said of the high speed flight achievement of the SJ30 flight test team.

"Achieving our flight test goal of demonstrating certifiable flight and structural characteristics at dive speeds of .90 Mach at altitudes above 28,000 feet and at 372 knots indicated below 28,000 feet will give future SJ30 customers an aircraft with superb performance capabilities. These demonstrated dive speeds will allow our customers to fly their jets with a normal operating envelope of .83Mach (Mmo) at higher altitudes and 320 KIAS (Vmo) at lower altitudes below 28,000 ft. That's outstanding capability exceeding all jets in the SJ30's class and many in higher priced markets."

Mr. Kromer continued; "With this operating envelope, the SJ30 will fit perfectly into the high speed traffic flow with other jet aircraft, not only while enroute but during high speed descents as well. There is nothing worse for a jet pilot than to be asked to move aside or to a lower altitude for higher speed, overtaking traffic. With a .83Mach/320KIAS Mmo/Vmo, SJ30 owners will be the ones passing slower, less capable jets temporarily in front."

Gene Comfort, Senior Vice President, International & Domestic Sales and Marketing stated today; "The SJ30 is an absolutely incredible aircraft value. It is now solidly the world's fastest light business jet. Speed is virtually always at the top of the list when it comes to purchasing business jets and the SJ30 now provides the ultimate low cost, high speed, solution in the business jet world. The SJ30 high cruise of Mach .83 exceeds every business jet aircraft in the world up to $11 million. The extra speed on this aircraft is actually free as the price of the new SJ30 is one of the lowest in the light jet industry. This great value has not been ignored by our customers and most mention it is one of the top reasons for buying the new SJ30. I believe the SJ30 will become the worlds best selling light business jet and the incredible speed will be one of the reasons for its great success."

Two FAA conformed SJ30 twinjet aircraft are currently in flight testing as often as seven days a week. Aircraft S/N 0003 is being used as the systems test aircraft on items such as pressurization, electrical, hydraulic and bleed air. The other aircraft S/N 0004 is the aerodynamics and performance test aircraft, flying tests determining minimum flight speeds and characteristics, stalls, measuring climb performance and determining the high Mach number cruise capabilities.

SSAC Aircraft Company is FAA certifying the new SJ30 in San Antonio , TX and has over 420 employees in 4 facilities totaling over 220,000 sq ft in the USA Coast To Coast. The Company continues advancing the FAA certification process with projected certification in the second half of next year (2005). The new Sino Swearingen SJ30 business jet is a high performance, long range, intercontinental, twinjet aircraft with an incredible 2,500 nm range and one of the highest cruise speeds in the industry at Mach .83 (486 kts, 560 mph). The SJ30 will operate at altitudes up to 49,000 feet and maintain a "Sea Level Cabin" to 41,000 ft with the best pressurization differential in the business jet world, 12 psi. The new SJ30 will be certified for single pilot operations. Sino Swearingen's goal is to become the world's leading aircraft producer by creating a family of cost-efficient, high performance, high-quality, superior technology, business jets. . Specifications are preliminary and subject to change.
